Through natural air drying combined with steam drying technology, the moisture content is precisely controlled at 8% - 10% to prevent deformation and cracking in the later stage.
• Roofing Craft: The eaves and gables of the roof are processed using a combination of hand carving and CNC machining. First, the general outline is carved out by a CNC engraving machine, and then the artisans perform meticulous refinement to create the curved arcs of the eaves and the dynamic forms of the gables, restoring the elegant charm of the Chinese architectural roof. The texture of the roof tiles is presented through laser engraving or hand chiseling, with uniform depth and clear, realistic appearance, showcasing the detailed beauty of traditional architecture.

 

Recessed window frame technique

• The Chinese-style patterns on the window frames are achieved through laser cutting or hand-carving. If laser cutting is used, the pattern paths need to be programmed first to ensure straight lines and precise corners; for hand-carving, skilled artisans use fine chisels to slowly carve along the designed patterns, emphasizing the variation of line thickness and rhythm, making the window frame patterns not only have traditional charm but also possess artistic tension. After the window frames are cut or carved, their edges are polished by hand to remove burrs, resulting in a smooth feel while avoiding sharp corners that could affect safety during use.
• The inner side of the window frame is matched with a material that has high light transmittance and good diffusion effect, such as frosted acrylic sheet.
