304 Stainless Steel Lampshade Molding Process

Material selection and precise cutting: 304 stainless steel sheet with a thickness of 2 - 3 millimeters is selected. It is cut using a CNC machine. According to the optical projection requirements of the speaker opening, the stainless steel sheet is cut into a fan-shaped blank with a matching curvature. The cutting accuracy is controlled within ±0.05 millimeters to ensure that the size error of each blank does not affect the subsequent arc bending and splicing. The cutting edges are automatically rounded by the CNC machine to eliminate sharp corners and reserve precise connection points for welding.
Arc surface flatness repair: After welding, undergoes "three-stage grinding" treatment: First, use 120 mesh sandpaper for rough grinding to remove the weld seam, then use finer sandpaper for fine grinding to make the weld seam blend naturally with the arc surface. Finally, use a wool wheel for polishing to ensure that the arc surface is smooth and seamless as if it were forged as one piece. From any angle, there are no seam marks.

The collaborative process of light and structure

Optical curvature design: The inner wall curvature of the horn opening has been optimized through optical simulation. The curvature near the light source end is gentle, guiding the light to converge and project; the curvature at the far end of the light source is steeper, allowing the light to spread in all directions, ultimately forming a "bright center and soft edges" lighting area, which takes into account both reading and atmosphere creation.
Overall stability treatment: The lamp pole and the horn lamp cover are welded together manually, and the wall thickness at the connection point is increased to 4mm. The base is made of cast iron with counterweights.
